Reserving a Car

Once you have found your ideal car, make sure you don't miss out by reserving it online now!

The process is very simple and hassle-free. All you need to do is follow these 3 easy steps:

1) Place a deposit of £500, securely online with your credit card. This enables you to reserve your chosen car for a period of up to 48 hours.

2) Contact us as soon as possible to come in and visit our showroom, take the car for a test drive and ensure it meets your expectations.

3) Should you wish to purchase the car, payment can then be arranged with a minimum of fuss.

Should you decide not to purchase the car your deposit will be refunded in full.

Please be advised that due to a high turnover of vehicles, Direct Cars are not able to reserve any cars for a period longer than 48 hours. Once the deposit is received, your car will still remain visible on the website, but will clearly state this vehicle is reserved for a customer and no-one else will be able to reserve the car or book a test drive, etc.

Should you leave a deposit for a vehicle and fail to contact us to arrange a viewing and test drive; we will place the car back on general sale and refund your deposit within 7 days.

FAQs
Q1.What happens if I leave a deposit, come in and test drive the car and want to have a think about it before buying?
A. That's fine, but please make sure you have test driven the car, leaving yourself enough time to think about it before the 48 hour period is over. Should you need more time to decide, simply talk to your sales advisor - we are all human!
Q2.I have left my deposit and cannot make it to the showroom within the next 48 hours, but I really do think this is the car for me.
A. Please contact us to reach a mutually beneficial agreement. We all have work commitments, etc and this is something which can be discussed.
Q3.My deposit is supposed to have been refunded, but it has not yet shown on my credit card?
A. We endeavour to refund deposits as soon as is possible, but please be aware that depending on your bank and card issuer it may take some time for the deposit to appear in your account. If you require further details we advise contacting your bank directly.
