Skoda used to have a bit of a bad reputation back when they were producing vehicles on the other side of the Iron Curtain. Nowadays though, Skoda have rebuilt their name; building great quality cars, at reasonable prices and with impressive reliability to boot.

Czech Design with a German Heart

With much of the acquired knowledge and technology from parent company Volkswagen on show, the new batch of Skodas are a world away from their Czechoslovakian counterparts of yesteryear. Specialising in mid-range family/executive cars, such as the Octavia, Fabia and Skoda Superb, the company have been revitalised and are once again producing versatile cars with a build quality to match.

Now rather than being reviled for their looks and questionable mechanics, Skodas are celebrated for their fantastic reliability and economy. Winning award after award, there are fewer car manufacturers in the same bracket as Skoda for all-round quality and prudent design.
