Vehicle Breakdown Coverage

Motorplan will cover you against loss due to mechanical breakdown of certain parts during the period of cover. Apart from the excluded items specified in the contract, all other mechanical and electrical parts are covered. In addition, Motorplan will also cover your:

• Turbo Charger/Supercharger
• Catalytic Converter
• Air Conditioning
• In Car Entertainment (up to £100)
• Timing Belts (subject to replacement recommendations)

Warranty Cost Deferral

It is a condition of the cover that your vehicle is maintained in a mechanically sound condition in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. This can be undertaken by any reputable service provider. Claims are handled by the scheme administrator who can advise you of the nearest approved repairer, if you do not nominate one of your own choosing.
