No pressure from sales persons but very helpful and know every thing you need to know about the cars

Ian ,the salesman was so helpful and courteous he really made me feel at ease with everything but the aftersales and customer care leaves a lot to be desired. I picked the car up on Monday and by Saturday I had a flat battery and couldn't even get in as the locks wouldn't open.I rang Direct Cars and Ian answered and talked me through how to get in manually . It still wouldn't start so I was asked to ring my roadside assistance as there was nobody working in the garage to come and help me, it was a bank holiday. Managed to get it started and took it back on Tuesday morning to get it checked out but was told that it couldn't be looked at for at least two weeks. As I didn't have much confidence in the car I decided to leave it with them in the hope I get it back quicker than the two weeks as I'm going on holiday soon.At present I've spent £13,300 and have no car ,they didn't hsve a loan car either.
Neville , who was in charge of the servicing team , rang me up at 12.30 and told me I could pick the car up as they had run a full diagnostic on it and everything had checked out ok. Wasn't convinced but took it home anyway and up to now it's been ok. Thanks to Neville for getting me back on the road.

Very satisfied with sales team at Direct Cars espTom Breeze. They answered all queries promptly and professionally. The links to required documents all worked seemlessly. Everything happened as was explained and expected.

I came one day later for a 4 day booking. No car, no refund.

Very good customer service and confidence inspiring service team. I put a deposit on a car over the phone and when I collected it 10 days later the car was ready, valeted and all advisories sorted when MOT’d. Never felt any pressure to buy the car without being satisfied after the refundable deposit had been paid. Literally can’t fault the whole experience. I would definitely buy a car from them again.

Irecently purchased a Renault Clio at Direct Cars and the agent who helped me was Ian Whiting who was very helpful and informative. He made the whole process easy and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone as he wasn't pushy and let you take your time in selecting a car.

I bought the car without actually physical seeing it. Which was a risk! But absolutely nothing to worry about, it came immaculate, not a stone chip or scuff on alloy at all. It looks like a brand new car! Great communication with Tom the sales man with an affordable delivery service which got delivered on time. I've just done a 300mile round trip and drove very we'll. Overall happy with the vehicle and would use Direct cars again.

We chose Direct Cars to buy our current car from as we had always had a positive experience from there. However, the latest purchase has left us very dissapointed with the whole experience. Picked a car out which required some work doing to it, including a good valet, (the valet which we were informed had already been done).It was obvious the car had not been cleaned as the car was filthy and had a horrible smell. All issues apart from the interior valet completed before car picked up. After taking the car it took a further three attempts to get the car interior clenliness up to there usual standards. This required taking the car back to them on three occasions. Overall I now feel the car was over priced and we are left dissapointed.

I found the whole experience really relaxing with no pushy salesmen to deal with. They gave me the keys to a car I was interested in and left me to my own device's to have a good look around it.

First time at direct cars and was really pleased with the service. We were left to look around at leisure and were given the keys to as many cars as we wanted. We picked one out and gave it a test drive it was just what we wanted. Special mention to Tom the salesman who dealt with us. No hard sales and he was very good at explaining everything re payment, warranty etc. Picked up my new car and am very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend Direct Cars to all. Don't agree with pdi payment, no explanation of the car instruments,valeting not good enough ,door rubber seal should have been sorted. Won't be making a return in the future

The service received both in selling the car rand the follow up replare was first class and in line with my neighbours comments about the sales and service she recieved when she purchase a car from you and now has it serviced

Fab experience! Visited Direct Cars after a horrible experience elsewhere, spoke to the very friendly receptionist who advised about the layout and to take notes of any cars we wanted to look at closer. There were several sales operatives there and visible but never pushy l. Even when we did find a car we wanted to view they gave us the keys and gave us the time to look in it at our own pace without any pressure. Went to look and the cars were immaculate! The sales operatives were great, friendly and willing to answer any questions and help however they could. Fast forward to picking up the car, everything was ready to go we had a 30 minute appointment slot to arrive for and everything was ready and waiting. Went through all the checks and normal chit chat, got all paperwork ready and headed off. Had the car around 2 weeks now and it's fab! No issues, runs as brand new (6yr old) and looks brand new! Would definitely go back for future cars. Brilliant.

First class dealership no pressure what so ever you can browse at your leisure. If you need help then you find them. A very relaxed way of selling which I think is way above other dealerships keep it up I have bought from them 3 times that speaks volumes I think.

Had a walk round seen a car went and got keys went back in put deposit down on car not once was there any salesman breathing down your neck after a sale picked car up a week later had a problem with one of the tyres direct cars sent us to garage to have a new one fitted so far everything ok but we new that anyway as it’s not the first car we have bought from here ( cheers to Ian )

Although I travelled from Scotland to collect a car I had not driven, I found Direct Cars very helpful with videos and pictures. Communication was quick and efficient, as was the whole process of purchasing my new car. The vehicle was just as described, if not better and I would recommend the £99 pre-purchase service, with its other added benefits. Would definitely recommend.

first of all great site where cara are displayed,, lots of room around vehicles to look around ,, no pressure sales like most garages,, sean the salesnab was brilliant,,, also from being seventeen i have owned approx 45 cars ,, the citroen c3 picasso we purchased was the cleanest and most maculate in condition after it had been through your workshop and valet bay,,, very very impressed with the finished product of the car ,,,, 10 out of 10 cannot praise the valet any more ...

I purchased my new car from yourselves, Shaun was very helpful and the transaction was very smooth. I had to take it for a repair after 2 days due to a slow puncture but the process was really good and sorted within the hour.
I then picked up my new private plates which were kindly put on my car a few weeks later.
Overall cannot fault Direct cars for service and communication.

I went to purchase a vehicle but decided to choose another car which I am very happy with.
The salesman let us look at our leisure no pressure at all, but when I found a car I was interested in we felt that we didn't have his full attention as he was buzy with other customers so it didn't feel totally personnel but it is a buzy car showroom so expected.
Overall I was happy with the service I received.

Excellent service. I purchased a Ford Kuga this week and the car was in great condition, well serviced and with an MOT. Nick was great from start to finish. Appreciate the great service and love the new car.

On entering the store we were greeted by a lovely customer service representative. We had everything explained to us how the store works etc. So off we went. My wife and I found a couple of cars we were interested in and got the keys. We explored the cars and found one we was interested in. On arriving back at the store we explained to the sales person what we wanted and everything went so smooth. From entering the building to leaving my wife and I was very happy with the service. Only down side we felt was the test drive of the vehicle I think it should be on the road and not just up and down the car park at the rear of the building but all in all a great experience.

Great to start until it came to collect the car. I was told any advisories found on the MOT would be actioned before collecting the car. I checked if this work had been completed twice before collection day, as we do not live close by. I was advised it had been and if there were any delays, I would’ve been informed.

On arrival the colleague was very helpful, took me out to the car, when I noticed the advisories had not been completed as promised. We then had several discussions, I was told I could get a second opinion but they felt the work didn’t need doing. To then if you have any problems down the line ring us. I offered to get the work completed if the car was reduced, as it needed to be actioned.

When they realised I would walk away and asked for a refund, the work was reluctantly carried out.

We had to wait around for over two hours whilst this took place.

My initial interactions were very good, however I was very disappointed at how we agreed on a something, to then be treated like it wasn’t that big a deal and not to worry about it. Had I known I would not have travelled to the garage.

I understand it is a business and you need to make money, but promises should not be made and blatantly disregarded. We made a deal and you fell short.

I also was told the only charge was a £99 fee, which included a valet. The car has glitter bits everywhere, it didn’t look any different to when I viewed it initially.

I was also not told that the £99 was optional! There are also other things included I was not told about.

What should have been a good experience was soured, I feel like I was misled.

The car I’m happy with overall, just not how I was treated. Due to this I wouldn’t use again.

The customer service was spot on, there was no pressure from the sales staff at all.
When I asked about the car I was given the key for it to have a look round it on my own with no on looking over my shoulder.

Nick looked after us he was very honest not pushy would recommend a purchase of any vehicle there ask for Nick.

This was the second time that we have used Direct Cars to purchase a new vehicle. On this occasion we were looking for a quality SUV to replace our two existing vehicles, after looking on their website we found a 69 plate Renault Koleos. When turning up to the dealership we were greeted as before by a gentleman by the name of Tom,who kindly provided the keys for the vehicle in question to view at our leisure (no pressure selling). We decided to purchase the said vehicle and finance was arranged with in a matter of minutes and an excellent part exchanged was agreed for our existing vehicles. On the day of collection the car was presented to us in excellent condition with all advisories that had been highlighted on the MOT been rectified by any parts required being replaced by new. i.e new tyres break discs and pads on this occasion. In summary a stress free car purchase dealt with by professional people with a long standing reputation which is well deserved. We would definitely be returning when the time comes to change our vehicle in the future.

We’ve used Direct Cars for 20 years now. We love the fact that you are never pressured by the salesman. This time we dealt with Shaun Palmer, he couldn’t have been more helpful. He explained everything and made our experience easy and enjoyable. He’s a credit to the company. We will definitely be back for our next car.
