I was impressed by the salesman (Robert Ryalls) and his attention to detail. When we were on the test drive it was a no pressure situation everything at your own pace. The car was prepared to a high standard and any extras I required were completed and ready at collection. Robert even arranged the new road tax for me.
I cannot fault any specific items. I had picked the car on-line and obtained an on-line valuation for my old vehicle from Robert. When I arrived I was directed to the section/area where my choice was, I suppose that's the thing the size of the site.

Such a friendly environment no pressure whilst looking around, It was acknowledged that I was there and told if I needed any help just to ask, I went looking for a new car and found loads I liked, when I had chosen what I wanted the sales executive was so friendly and happy to help, not only did I purchase my new car from him I also sold him my own car at the same time which was a surprise as I was going to sell my car to one of those on-line car buying services, but they offered me the same price as I would have achieved by them, it was so simple just a few forms to fill in and done, even got loyalty card for money any services that I would like to use.
There was nothing to dislike about any of the services.

The whole experience was extremely easy and pleasurable. We had only started looking at vehicles that morning. We visited one car showroom and left there feeling very disappointed (the website promised so much). We decided to visit Direct cars next, and we couldn't believe the choice on offer - this was our first visit here, and we decided within an hour that we didn't have to look anywhere else. We found our new car that we wanted (from a choice of models on our shortlist) and in a great colour too. We also discovered what we didn't like with our other choices if vehicles as well. Having been badly let down the previous day by another car supermarket we were impressed that Garth agreed to take the car off sale for 90 minutes to allow us to make the journey south to view and test drive the car. Also the friendliness of all the staff on site.
We decided to pick our new car up during a holiday in North Wales which involved a 200 mile plus round trip. Although this was known to yourselves the handover felt rather rushed and we were not even offered a coffee during our visit. But for this the sales person would have been rated 10 stars above.

Open and trusting manner in which we were given the keys to any car to look around it. Your staff never made any negative comments about the old car that we were part exchanging. We were very happy with the process and equally happy with our new car. Some car makes were split into different locations around your premises, in particular the Hondas. It would have been nice if you had put some fuel in a car of this value.

The young man who accompanied me on test drives was patient, calm and professional. Whilst finance was discussed there was no pressure at all to take out an agreement. The salesman who completed the sale was diligent in his explanation of what I had to do with paperwork for the DVLA. At each stage everyone was VERY patient and I never felt rushed or hurried along. I am delighted with the service I received at Direct Cars, and would not think twice about returning for future purchases. You turn the stereotype of used car sales on it's head, and provide a professional, trustworthy and considerate service. I was very happy with the overall service of the staff of Direct Cars. There was no pressure what so ever. All aspects of finance and extras was explained clearly and I didn't feel pressured to buy any of them. When I realised I didn't have the correct handbook for my car I made enquiries and received one within 5 days as promised by the team. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was very polite and helpful. This is my 4th car from Direct Cars and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend my friends and family.

Once again I have had the pleasure of buying a new car from Direct Cars. I buy all my company vehicles from here and over the last 12 years we must have purchased some 30+ vehicles. As usual we enjoyed the same great value and top class service. What I really like is the low staff turnover and customer care attitude. Cars are mechanical things and they do go wrong. However the pleasure of dealing with these guys is they put any problem right. We see the same staff year in year out. I see my friends buying from other car supermarket sites, but they complain about the after care. All I can say is deal with Direct Cars and have peace of mind.

Competitively priced stock. Good choice of cars from large to small, auto and manual and a good range of prices, very well presented. Good trade-in value given. No haggling. No pressure. Everything went very smoothly. Sales person very knowledgeable and likeable. Loyalty card a very good idea. Would definitely deal with DirectCars again, in fact I intend to next on my wife's car.
Can't think of anything other than I may be wrong but I didn't see any coffee machines for customers in the showroom and perhaps some seating area for husbands and wives to sit and have a coffee and talk things over by themselves on the short list of cars they may have in mind. But as I say, a minor criticism.

Had to ask and pay for fuel on collection. If I hadn't asked for some fuel to be put in the car, there would not have been any and the fuel light was 'flashing' on test drive.

The friendly service of John the salesman who sold us the car, he was very knowledgeable and really pleasant and did things with a smile on his face which was refreshing.There was no high pressure salesmanship and we went along in a nice and friendly manner.

Vehicle supplied with only 1.6 litres of fuel. Punto Evo has Stop Start, not mentioned in the sale. I found out by checking the engine from the registation number. A rare case of under-selling in the motor trade!!

It is my 3rd car from Direct and the other 2 never let me down. I do like the fact that you have no salesman hovering over you and that you can look around with ease. Even after you have made your choice you are given the keys to have an initial look round your choices.

I was treated with respect and courtesy by everyone I spoke to. The person who dealt with me was Andy Benton and he was very helpful and explained everything to me. He was very patient and didn't mind telling me again if there was anything I didn't understand. I am very pleased with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to do business with you again.
There wasn't anything that I would say I disliked.

The salesman was very courteous and helpful. He was also great in understanding any concerns I might have had.
Concerned about battery - when we checked the car over I was concerned about the battery life. Was had returned from 2 weeks holiday, hence delay in getting in touch from date of purchase. Battery was checked over and a new replacement battery was put in the car. Overall very pleased.

The lack of pressure to buy. Our salesman was John Dwyer. He was extremely efficient, very professional and knowledgeable. He was most kind and considerate to an elderly couple such as ourselves. It was not his fault that we had difficulty with the filler cap, he did show us. We would gladly recommend him to others.
The fact a very limited amount of fuel is in the car.

The no pressure salesman. When we visited Direct Cars we were somewhat on our guard due to the way we have been treated in the past by other car dealerships. But I can honestly say the was Direct Cars treated us was excellent throughout. You gave us a fair price for our vehicle in part-exchange, and we were offered after sales products without any pressure to buy. I shall certainly use and recommend Direct Cars in the future.

I must thank the car salesman for holding the car for me, as I travelled 85miles to see it. It was in the condition he stated to me on the phone. When I got there I was left to look the car over in my own time. Iwas then told all about the car, where it came from etc. I have bought alot of cars in my time, but I must say it was a pleasure to deal with a company who treat you with respect. I would recommend this company to anyone who will listen. Also when I came to collect the car, the handover was a credit to your salesman.

Left with the vehicle to examine at our own leisure without any pressure from the salesman. We were left with the car under complete trust, and on examining the car were quite satisfied and did not request a test drive. Completely satisfied with the car as this had only done 2,400 miles, drives and handles like a new car.
Too much tyre wall paint which I had to wipe off as much as I could with a rag. This gets all over the wheel trims when washing the car, not necessary as this is only used to enhance the look of the wheels.

Good range of cars - able to compare cars I was interested in. Friendly staff. Test drive could have done being a bit further - but accompanying person very pleasant.
Although the Aviva link up is useful they did not e-mail the cover note they said they would. I had to spend a considerable amount of time on the phone sorting this out.

No pressure. Realistic part exchange resulting in satisfactory equity on the deal. Vehicle very well prepared. This is the second time we have bought card from Direct Cars, 3 cars in total. This time we enjoyed the experience much more than the first time. We feel that customer service has improved noticeably since 2004. We would be happy to recommend Direct Cars to friends.
The fact that 0% finance was not accurately described (only over 1 year and only for £5,000).

Test drive was poor. The car had little fuel in it, so the engine management shut down the power, so it was impossible to appreciate the performance.
